They represent both the exhibitor and the hosting organization, making excellent communication skills, a professional appearance, and a customer-oriented attitude essential. Fluency in English is highly desirable, while additional foreign languages are considered a significant advantage.
VIP Hostesses
VIP Hostesses are responsible for welcoming and assisting ambassadors, government officials, business delegations, corporate executives, media representatives, and other distinguished guests. They accompany VIP visitors during official tours, protocol meetings, presentations, and networking events while ensuring all protocol standards are respected. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, discretion, confidence, and previous experience in protocol or international events. Knowledge of multiple foreign languages is highly preferred.
Brand Promoters / Promotional Staff
Brand Promoters actively present the exhibitor’s products, services, technologies, culture, tourism, or investment opportunities to visitors. Their duties include distributing promotional materials, engaging with guests, answering questions, encouraging participation in activities, and increasing visitor interaction within the pavilion. Successful candidates should be outgoing, energetic, persuasive, and comfortable communicating with large numbers of international visitors.
Visitor Experience Assistants
Visitor Experience Assistants help visitors navigate the pavilion while ensuring every guest receives accurate information and enjoys a memorable experience. They assist with queues, answer visitor questions, explain exhibit procedures, and support individuals with special requirements when needed. Friendly communication, patience, and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
Promotional Team Leaders
Promotional Team Leaders supervise hostesses, promoters, and other promotional staff assigned to a pavilion. They coordinate daily schedules, assign responsibilities, monitor performance, solve operational issues, and serve as the primary communication link between the exhibitor, staffing agency, and event organizers. Previous leadership experience, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
Information Desk Officers
Information Desk Officers provide detailed information regarding pavilion activities, daily schedules, presentations, cultural events, business programs, and general EXPO information. They assist both domestic and international visitors by answering inquiries and helping resolve minor issues efficiently. Strong communication skills, computer literacy, and fluency in English are required.
Receptionists
Receptionists welcome visitors, business partners, exhibitors, suppliers, and official delegations upon arrival. They manage guest registration, coordinate appointments, answer telephone and email inquiries, and provide administrative assistance throughout the event. Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, or front-office operations is considered an advantage.
Administrative Assistants
Administrative Assistants provide operational support by managing documentation, preparing reports, maintaining records, coordinating meetings, and assisting management teams with daily administrative tasks. They work closely with pavilion management and external partners to ensure smooth business operations throughout the exhibition period. Excellent organizational and computer skills are required.
Event Coordinators
Event Coordinators organize and supervise conferences, presentations, networking sessions, business meetings, cultural performances, and special events taking place within the pavilion. They coordinate schedules, communicate with speakers, suppliers, performers, and technical teams while ensuring that every activity runs according to plan. Previous event management experience is highly desirable.
Protocol Assistants
Protocol Assistants support official ceremonies, diplomatic visits, governmental delegations, and international business meetings by ensuring compliance with diplomatic and protocol procedures. They coordinate seating arrangements, official welcomes, ceremonies, and schedules while maintaining professional standards at all times. Previous protocol or government event experience is preferred.
Registration Staff
Registration Staff manage participant registration, accreditation distribution, visitor verification, badge printing, and attendee records. They ensure efficient visitor processing while maintaining accurate databases and assisting guests with registration procedures. Precision, attention to detail, and customer service skills are essential.
Access Control Staff
Access Control Staff verify visitor credentials, badges, invitations, and entry permits while controlling access to restricted areas. They cooperate closely with licensed security personnel to ensure safety, compliance with regulations, and efficient visitor flow. Professional communication and attention to detail are required.
Licensed Security Officers
Licensed Security Officers are responsible for protecting visitors, employees, exhibitors, VIP guests, and pavilion property throughout the EXPO event. Their duties include access control, surveillance, emergency response, crowd management, incident reporting, and cooperation with local authorities when necessary. Candidates must possess a valid Serbian private security license and demonstrate professionalism, responsibility, and excellent communication skills.
Interpreters and Translators
Interpreters and Translators facilitate communication between exhibitors and international visitors by providing consecutive or simultaneous interpretation during meetings, presentations, negotiations, guided tours, and official ceremonies. Candidates should demonstrate excellent language proficiency, cultural awareness, and professional communication skills. Fluency in English is mandatory, while German, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, or other international languages are highly appreciated.
Pavilion Guides / Tour Guides
Pavilion Guides conduct organized tours for individuals, business delegations, educational groups, and VIP visitors. They explain exhibits, innovations, cultural presentations, tourism opportunities, investment projects, and other pavilion attractions in an engaging and informative manner. Excellent presentation skills, confidence, and foreign language proficiency are required.
Technical Support Staff
Technical Support Staff install, monitor, and maintain audiovisual systems, LED displays, computers, multimedia equipment, presentation technology, and communication devices used throughout the pavilion. They quickly resolve technical issues to ensure uninterrupted presentations and visitor experiences. Previous experience in IT, AV systems, or event technology is preferred.
Logistics Assistants
Logistics Assistants coordinate deliveries, inventory movement, promotional materials, exhibition equipment, and daily operational supplies. They communicate with suppliers, warehouse personnel, transportation companies, and pavilion management to ensure timely and efficient logistics operations. Organizational skills and flexibility are essential.
Couriers / Internal Messengers
Couriers provide internal transportation of documents, promotional materials, technical equipment, packages, and urgent deliveries between pavilions, organizers, suppliers, and service providers within the EXPO site. Reliability, punctuality, and excellent knowledge of the exhibition grounds are highly desirable.
Warehouse Operators
Warehouse Operators receive, store, organize, and distribute promotional materials, exhibition equipment, uniforms, and operational supplies. They maintain inventory records and ensure efficient stock management throughout the exhibition period. Previous warehouse or inventory management experience is beneficial.
Drivers
Drivers provide safe and professional transportation for exhibitors, business partners, VIP guests, official delegations, and operational staff. Responsibilities include airport transfers, hotel transportation, official meetings, and logistical support while maintaining company vehicles in excellent condition. A valid driving license, excellent driving record, and professional appearance are required. Previous experience with executive transportation is considered an advantage.
General Support Staff
General Support Staff perform various operational duties depending on the specific needs of each international pavilion. Responsibilities may include assisting exhibition teams, supporting event logistics, helping administrative departments, preparing meeting rooms, organizing promotional materials, and providing additional operational assistance during busy periods. Flexibility, adaptability, teamwork, and a positive attitude are essential qualities for these positions.
